Pam earned her MSW and BS in Psychology from Grand Valley State University. She is passionate about helping individuals who seek to find support and encouragement, experience emotional healing and to build healthy relationships. Pam believes it is possible to find wholeness and genuine joy by incorporating spiritual truth found in scriptures into the therapeutic process.
She is a licensed by the State of Michigan as an LMSW Clinical Social Worker and has provided individual and group counseling for over 20 years. Her expertise includes working with individuals experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationship issues, and changing seasons of life. She also has expertise working with individuals wanting to make healthy lifestyle changes and weight loss. As a counselor, Pam works from a wellness model and her approach is to support clients in their journey to achieve their desired life outcomes. She believes that compassion, understanding, and trust are important in the therapeutic process. Pam is interactive and solution-focused and maintains a safe, comfortable, and supportive therapeutic environment. Areas of focus include but are not limited to: wellness, weight management, depression, isolation, relationships, life transitions, loss and grief and self-esteem, and body image.
Other information if desired: Pam has four grown children and is blessed with several grandchildren. She enjoys hiking, traveling, a weekly Bible study group and time spent with friends and family.
